The Gannon University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is hosting the 5th Annual Women In Leadership Development (W.I.L.D.) Conference on Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Erie PA Bayfront Convention Center. The W.I.L.D. is a national conference expected to draw over 750 women from Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Indiana, New Jersey, Delaware and West Virginia to Erie, PA on Friday, May 11, 2012.
Our 2012 W.I.L.D. Leadership Speaker is Grace Killelea, Senior Vice President of Talent for Comcast Cable. Our 2012 W.I.L.D. Entrepreneurship Speaker is Peggy Klaus, President of Klaus & Associates. Both W.I.L.D. Speakers are inspirational, motivational and dynamic. Denise Christianson, President of Advanced Placement Services, Inc. is the 2012 W.I.L.D. Chairwoman. There is also information about exclusive and monetary sponsorships, grand prizes, satchel donations and volunteer opportunities. The W.I.L.D. is offering an early bird special of $110 a ticket if purchased before Feb. 15, 2012. On Feb. 16, 2012 ticket prices increase to $150.00 and after Apr. 15, 2012 the price jumps to $200.00.
The 2012 Philanthropy is the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania. For the first time, a silent auction will be held for most of the grand prizes with all proceeds benefiting the Girl Scouts.
