Gannon University's Small Business Development Center is presenting the 5th Annual W.I.L.D. Conference. This year's conference chair is Denise Christianson, President of Advanced Placement Services Inc. The SBDC along with 150 professional planning committee members will host this fantastic national program in 2012.
The speaker topics include entrepreneurship and leadership. It is anticipated that over 700 women will attend in 2012, with former attendees traveling from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and Indiana to attend this wildly exciting event!

UPMC Hamot is proud to again be the Health/Wellness sponsor for the Gannon SBDC W.I.L.D. Conference. What’s even more exciting is the interactive way we can participate through the W.I.L.D. Way to Wellness.We have some fun and education planned for this event. The W.I.L.D. Way to Wellness encompasses the North End of the Exhibitor area, a total of 27 booths, in the Great Exhibit Hall at the Bayfront Convention Center. In this area, we will be offering screenings, health information, chair massage, shopping and mini-lectures on topics that professional women need as we go about our busy lives.

Silent Auction
The 2012 W.I.L.D. Philanthropy is the Girl Scouts of Western PA. They are actively involved in our first ever silent auction to raise funds for their programming. When the doors open at 7:30 am on Friday, May 11, 2012 you’ll be able to see the Silent Auction Items on display tables at the north end of the Bayfront Convention Center, before you enter the ballroom for the start of the conference at 9 am. Bidding begins at 7:30 am and continues until 3:00 pm. All bidding closes at 2:30 pm. Then the highest bidders (winners) will be posted and announced by 3:30 pm. To bid go to the corresponding clipboard, place your name, phone number (cell) and bid amount. You may bid in minimum $5.00 increments. All items must be paid for by 4:00 pm the day of the conference at the W.I.L.D. store, located near the Silent Auction items. You can pay with cash, check or credit card. Grand Prize Drawings
When you pick up your name badges, you will also receive 2 tickets for the W.I.L.D. Grand Prize Drawings. These prizes are also located at the north end of the Bayfront Convention Center. Remember to place your tickets in the designated bags BEFORE 9 AM. We will begin announcing winners of these grand prizes right from the beginning of the conference.
